Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat
Well, I don't know about the goose, but the turkeys are looking good.  Yup.  They're back.  I just saw a whole bunch of them walk by my window.
I can't believe it's xmas eve and it's so warm I have my windows open here.  Sigh..
Anyways, I will point out Craig's intelligence now:
Could you be more obvious with the quote on your blog? Return of the King, Gimli and Lego(las). "That still only counts as one!"  -I never said I was going for obscure.
Anyway, Have a happy merry whatever holiday you guys want.  Enjoy!

I never thought I'd die side by side with an Elf.
What about side by side with a friend?
Aye. I could do that.

So, tis the holiday week.  The season.  Winter starts tomorrow.  I talk in short phrases.  Hope everyone has a great holiday.  Mine is off to a good start.
Friday was Contempt.  And in record time, I have pictures up.  Mainly because with all the Holiday stuff coming up, I know I'll have plenty more to deal with.  It was lots of fun, even though Goose and Li were too tired to attend.  I got to talk to Baker and Brian and Haras.  Cool music and finger puppets were a plenty.  It was also cool to watch Baker hop over the railing so he could dance to NIN's rendition of Get Down Make Love.  Eventually left and made it home around 4ish
Saturday, my cursed internal clock got me up around 9.  Spent the whole day in a daze.  In the evening, I headed over to Tim's for a Christmas gathering.  Not a party mind you, just a gathering.  We hung out for a bit, then Tricia and Cathy showed up.  After a bit of the gift exchanging, I headed out to the AB&G to hang with Li, Goose and Tom.  We were later joined by Jack, ROSS, Kat and ED!  Yup, Ed is home for the holidays.  We had a good time and did more gift exchanging.  Eventually it was time to head home and fall unconscious.
Today was uneventful, mostly just hanging out by my lonesome, played some Diablo II with Josh because Ed was a bit busy giving Kat something special.  This evening Sean and Giner stopped by for a bit and we chatted.  Which brings me up to the now.
Well, hope everyone has a great holiday.  Got dinner and a movie (Return of the King again, yay!) on Wednesday with the parents and sibling.  Then on Xmas, I will head back to their place again for gift exchange and dinner, then it's off to my Aunt's for dessert and more gift exchange.
Have a wonderful time all.
But before that, here's your pic.  It's from last Xmas, it's my Aunt Fran, Oma (my grandmother) and me Mum.
And here's your wav.  Which shows you should read things through before going on the air with them.

Let's face it. The threat of hydrogen bomb warfare is the greatest danger our nation has ever known.
Bad me, not updating.  Bad bad bad.
So before I go to Contempt and take even more pictures, I decided to post the ones I've had for the past week.
Here are the ones that Tim's been waiting for.
Here's my cousin's wedding
And here's my holiday walk around NYC.
And here's another great pic.  Especially if you look at the second photo on the left.
And better late than never, pic and wav.

Tom was half right with his guess for last weeks quote:
It's gotta be that new atomic box song -It is Atomic Box, but it is not their new song, it is for Sunspot.

That's all.  I'll do a real update early next week before the holidays hit us.
Go see Return of the King.  Now!  then go see it again.

12/10/03
So now my sin has turned into this silent screaming virtue
Did you see/I never saw
The sun was in my eyes.
I lead where blind men follow
The living dead
Forever hollow
I never saw/you should have known
The sun was in my eyes
Yeah, bad webmaster.  Not updating.  Who do I think I am?  And for some reason my font keeps defaulting to the one I use for the dates.  Sigh.  Well, anyways I haven't done a hell of a lot recently, so hence the lack of a weekend update.  Spent the whole weekend pretty much snowed in.  Though Monday was Giner's birthday and we went to Clay Oven and then hung out with Lauren and Dave in the evening, and by we I mean me, my other personalities, Sean, Tim and , of course, Giner.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINER!  Crap, I'll just finish typing and correct the font later.
Let's see, what else.  I got my car inspected last Monday and failed.  but it was for the gas cap so Right after I went and got a new one for $14, but then it got really windy and cold and started snowing so I went home.
Oh, I got a copy of the new Atomic Box song, The Almost Done, from the Dr himself.  I really like it.  And you shall as well.
Meh, my brain isn't quite working yet.
Oh and the Mysterious 'C' made a valiant attempt at last weeks quote.
I want to go with the obvious..Satan...but from where...Anne Rice's Memnoch the Devil...hmm  Got who said it, but wrong with the source.  It was Aragorn himself, Viggo Mortenson, playing Lucifer in The Prophecy.

Here's a pic and a wav.
And here's some up and coming fun in my life:
12/12 - My cousin's wedding (Yes, I have more than one cousin)
12/13 - Trip into NYC to hang and see the holiday sights
12/14 - Lauren's belly dancing show
12/17 - 8:30PM, Morristown, NJ  RETURN OF THE KING!
12/19 - Contempt
yay

I was the first angel, loved once above all others...But like all true love... one day it withered on the vine...
Long holiday weekend.  Sounds like every weekend these days.  So, my holiday weekend was pretty cool, did buncha stuff, but, alas, took no pictures.  All the stuff I did this weekend, and here I sit staring blankly at the screen.
Anyway, I can't remember what occurred Wednesday night.  Thursday was thanksgiving (in case you were unaware) and I went to my aunt's house for dinner.  There was turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes (baked and smashed)  lots o veggies.  YUMZ!  Also there was some great dessert.  I had some apple pie and yellow cake!  There was some rum cake that was so saturated with rum, it was leaking.  After dessert, I met up with Li n goose and we headed to Kat's to hang out.  We watched some book panels on C-SPAN all night.  the line up was great.  It was Bushwhackers, followed by Barbara Bush and then Michael Moore.  It was late then and I went home.
Friday evening was Cathy's birthday bash at Vineddi's in Wharton.  I was joined by Tricia, Cathy (obviously), Chris, Georgie, Rachel, Ken, Michelle and her sister.  They had Karaoke so we set Tricia up with Mickey by Toni Basil.  Later Tricia and Cathy did In the End by Linkin Park and really kicked with the Indigo Girls.  At that point it was getting late and I had to get up in the morning.
Saturday morning I got up, had a quick breakfast and headed out to pick up my sis and head for the train.  We caught the train into NYC and boy did it get crowded.  We had seats, but towards the end of the journey it was standing room only.  Though those lucky bastards didn't have to pay.  We got into Penn Station late and the stairs were crowded so we ran up the escalator.  You see, the escalator wasn't crowded because it was going down.  Damn that was hard to do.  Especially at the beginning and end where the height keeps changing.  anyway, we hit the subway and my metro card had expired.  So I got a new one and we caught the 1 just as it arrived and headed to Lincoln Center.  We got in, got our seats, found out about the complimentary lockers and put our coats in.  (yes lockers that lock and you take the key).  Then the play started.  Henry IV.  Starring Kevin Klein and Ethan Hawke.  The play was great.  I loved the set.  Everyone was great.  I was really surprised by Ethan Hawke.  We has great as Hotspur, and Kevin Klein was marvelous as Falstaff.  The play was actually a combo of Parts 1 & 2 of Henry IV so it was 4 hours long.  Towards the end my tummy started talking to me since I hadn't eaten in about 9 hours.  So, we waited for the 1 or 9 and hopped back on and headed back to Penn Station.  We got there at 5:10, I looked at the schedule and saw that the next train back left at 5:11.  so we got some Roy Rogers and hung out in the station for about an hour and caught the next one.  Got home around 8ish and chilled.
Sunday.  Caught Timeline with his evilness, D-mo.  I enjoyed it thoroughly.  Though for the rest of the night I had "Trebuchet!!" stuck in my head.  I recommend this movie for some good 14th century fun.  After that I headed back to the parents for some dinner, much like a sequel to thanksgiving since mum had gotten a free turkey at the supermarket.  Bonus for thanksgiving 2 though, leftovers!  After dinner we lounged around and watched some Due South and some Dance of the Vampires bootlegs my sis had followed by the History Channel.  I left before R Lee Ermy could suck me in to far.
Today, I took my car in for inspection (It was due 11/03).  I waited not to long and FAILED!  Well my gas cap failed.  So I went to the dealer and got a new one, but I was cold, windy and started to snow, so I went home to worry about it another day.

Damn. that's a lot of reading for you all.  And I aint even done yet.  For now it is time for Announcements!!!

I hear there's some sort of holiday the following week, but I'm not sure yet.

Now, I've been bad about the quotes, so a bit of catching up there.
Oh God mother, blood! Blood!
This is from that 1998 Gus Van Sant movie called "Psycho."    The same line is also said in the Premake from 1960.
The Tom was correct (11/12)

This day will soon be at an end
And now its even sooner
Now its even sooner.
This day will soon be at an end
And now its sooner still......
TIME.......... Is marching on...........
And TIME......... Is still marching on!!!!!!
"Now your even Older" by, TMBG
Ed was close, but the song is just entitled Older (11/16)

OK, I think I'm done now.  Except for an angelic moment brought to you by pic of the week and weekly wav.  The pic is not CM and GG safe.
