He ate his fill, and was forced to continue eating, and eating...till his
body started rejecting the food. The killer held a bucket under him, then
kept serving this, this sick feast. The victim's throat was swollen from
the effort, and there must have been a point where he passed out. The
killer kicked him in the stomach, for good measure. Popped him.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
Eat responsibly.

That weapon will replace your tongue. You will learn to speak through it. And
your poetry will now be written with blood.
So I got my car back last night and it turned out to be a loose gas cap.
My anger at having to pay $40 for this was completely overwhelmed by my relief
that it wasn't anything serious.
I also finally found out where I was going for Thanksgiving and when.
Nothing like last minute info. I wonder when I would've found out if I
hadn't called me mum. Eh, nothing else exciting to talk about today,
except most of the lil annoying buzzing stressful things at work got resolved
today.

Personal note: When I was little my mother told me not to
stare into the sun, so when I was six I did.
Everyone give a big Huzzah to Rosie who was nice enough tom drive me into
work this morning. Although it might have been a ruse just so that she
could find out where I worked so that she can stalk me more. Although she
does need improvement since she still can't find my apartment. I don't
know what that school of hers is teaching, but they sure are lacking in the
stalker area. I bet they don't even listen to Every Breath You Take.
Anyway, I did forget to mention that this weekend I did get to watch Popeye.
Not the cartoon, the movie with Robin Williams. This is one of those
movies that are so cheezy I like them. Much like Monster
Squad, which is the absolute BEST movie ever!
So, I hope to find out sometime before Thursday where I'm supposed to be going
for Thanksgiving. That would be nice.
Later all. Don't forget to say nice things to
Rosie.

My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hon.
What a weekend. Sigh. What a weekend. Was having bad luck
at work all week and was looking forward to this weekend, forgetting all the
problems that computers were giving me and of course on the way home on Friday,
my check engine light came on. So Friday night I watched some Sopranos
season 3, which I had borrowed from Sean. Saturday morning I called the
dealership and made an appointment to drop my car off on Monday. At least
Zak was nice enough to drive me to D-mo's for the DnD game. We finally are
on the verge of retrieving the Sword of Swajji Nidhol. And Zak tried to
make D-mo say Shemchenablecod, but D-mo refused to try. Then returned
home. Sunday Scott and I planned to see James Bond, but he was having car
trouble and needs to take his car in to be fixed tomorrow, so we were basically
trapped at home. I finished watching Sopranos and watched A beautiful Mind
in the evening. That was a great movie. I have a thing for movies
about mathematicians or scientists struggling to keep a grip on sanity.
They remind me of my senior year of college. So here's an uneventful
weekend for you. I just hope Chris from work gets my message or I can get
in touch with him tomorrow and catch a ride in or...or I don't know.
Later all.

Great Green Macaw!!
Got this from
Shanmonster and just had to
share.
I dunno. That's it I guess. good night kiddies.

What's this day of rest shit? What's this bullshit? I don't fuckin' care! It
don't matter to Jesus. But you're not foolin' me, man. You might fool the fucks
in the league office, but you don't fool Jesus. This bush league psyche-out
stuff. Laughable, man - ha ha! I was gonna fuck you in the ass Saturday. I fuck
you in the ass next Wednesday instead. Wooo! You got a date Wednesday, baby!
So while driving home from Sean's tonight, after watching Buffy and
Smallville, I passed some places with Christmas decorations up. WHAT'S
WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!! IT'S NOT EVEN THANKSGIVING YET!!! I can't
wait till next year, they'll start putting them up in September. We'll
skip Halloween altogether. Christ!

There is no spoon.
Wow! What an exciting weekend!
Friday, I watched TV, then went to hang with Li and Da Gusta and we played
Grave Robbers from Outer
Space and Cannibal
Pygmies in the Jungle of Doom. It was fun times.
Saturday, I chilled all day and played Vice City and watched
The Matrix then went to
Timotheus's and hung out with Jeff, Sean, Tim (obviously) and Giner. We
ended up watching Mighty Orbots
and renting Super Troopers.
The Orbots were Cheezy, but I had the "Go Mighty Orbots" song stuck in my
head for the next 48 hours. Super Troopers was quite funny and I highly
recommend it to you specifically.
Sunday was another nothing day till the evening when the fam took mum out for
dinner at El Coyote for her birthday. The food there was good, of course.
We then returned to the house and hung out and gave her gifts and she was happy
and I typed a huge run on sentence and went home and was really tired and went
to bed.
That's it. See Y'all later.

I don't believe in it anyway.
What?
England.
Just a conspiracy of cartographers you mean?
So, I decided to share with you some of the amusing greetings I leave on my
answering machine. Well the amusing part is that I often get messages from
people that go something like "Hello? Hello? May I please speak to
Mr. (insert random mangling of my last name)? Hello" So off to the
side over there, there will be a link to my answering machine greeting.
it'll change a bit infrequently, but it'll change.

Ripped out guts, gouged out eyes! If you kill them, they
will die!
Ah, Brockie, such a poet.
So, I've gotten a guest book up. So stop on by and
sign it baby!
Got Mum's birthday this weekend, but that's nothing. Li
and Da Gusta's parents are meeting this weekend for the first time. Wish
them luck. Nothing else to say really. Oh yeah, so on top of me
mum's birthday, I owe my sister some dough so I can go see Dance
of the Vampires on Broadway. Sigh, I shouldn't go, but I am. I
am insane or something.
11/14/02
I need you to listen very, very very, very, very, VERY, VERY,
VERY carefully.
What?
For some reason I reason, I remembered this this morning. One time
Tom, Ed (Ed are you out there? Let us know and don't forget to send
damning pictures of Chris) and I were walking back from Da Gusta's place, back
in the day before he lived with Li, and we walked by a church as a wedding was
letting out and everyone was looking at us funny. We couldn't figure out
why. We looked ok to each other. A little later I realized I was
wearing a shirt with this picture on it:

I suppose that's why they were looking weird. The funny thing is, Tom and
Ed looked at my shirt and it didn't seem odd to them. Ah my friends.

This must be a dream. There's a fucking dwarf in it!
So I was working in midtown today (Manhattan for all you people out....nevermind)
and I passed a woman who was talking into her phone saying, "I don't deserve
this. I didn't do anything to you." Here's my take on it. She
was talking to a gypsy woman who cursed her by having a midget sneak into her
room every night and jab her big toe with a safety pin. Now did she
deserve it? I don't know. I have no idea why she was cursed, but curses
are serious business so she must have done something bad.

bizzidizzizzoots
So, much fun was had this weekend.
Friday I played Vice City all night (If I still need to link it or tell you what
it is, go back to your caves).
Saturday, well I played vice City, then went into the city to hang with the
Li-meister. We met up with
Dan and went to Odessa Diner.
There we were joined by Bizzaker.
After dinner, we went to Ben & Jerry's and went to a 'park' to eat it. the
park was nothing more than a large street corner with benches, but it closed at
1am. I guess you can't be on that corner after 1. Anyway, Baker was
showing off his Rikku
moves as well as karateing with Li. some guy on the other side of the
'park' was yelling something and Dan wanted to dance for him, but didn't.
We then all went to Baker's and hung there with Brian (his roommate and other
half of The Box) and played Vice City.
(Do you see a pattern here?) We then went home (well, I went to Li's)
around 3 and collapsed into unconscious bliss.
Sunday (the big day) Li and I got up and she was nice and made eggs and
veggie-links. We played...well you know. And then I left and went to
meet Po and his friend Mike at Downtime for Rocketball to see
AD play. We saw some other
bands that didn't really impress me. Most of them seemed like
Fear Factory wannabes. Now, I
like FF, but these guys didn't get it right. I mean, one guy was bent
doubled over the whole time, like someone kicked him in the gut. Anyways,
The Device came on and played well, but their set was short. Po, Mike and
I then left to meet up with Li and we went to
Benny's Burritos.
I had a great 12" Chicken Mushroom Burrito. Yumzies. Then we went to
Totem Bar across
the Street from Li's. The bar tender, Tim, was cool and it was pretty
quiet (what with it being a Sunday night and all). Then Po was nice enough
to harrowingly drive me to Contempt.
Li bailed and went home. I went in and was pleasantly surprised when
Brian,
who was working the door, told me I was comped and gave me my entry fee back.
I hung for a bit, and Baker arrived. The place was small, the crowd wasn't
huge, but it seemed so due to the smallness of the place. At one point, I
thought I was going to get accidentally punched by this girl dancing right in
front of me (her dancing involved thrusting her arms about, not randomly mind
you, it was nice dancing and she being cute, maybe it would've been good to get
punched. Damn was that a run on or what?) I also managed to get
handed one of these
by one of the Contempt dancers, Sara. Not sure what it is, but it's on a
Wednesday in the city so I don't see it happening for me. Chatted with
Brian and Baker most of the night, met some new people, whom I've seen there
before, but, alas, my curse of non-name-remembering still haunts me. And
shortly after being almost eyed with a cigarette (again, small place accident)
Baker, Brian and I left. although, I did plant the
Free Dieter
song idea in their heads. So I went back to Li's and attempted to ready
myself for bed as quietly as possible. Then I zzzzzzzzz...
Monday, I awoke and realized it was all a dream, then realized that it wasn't.
I headed to Penn Station and got me some Roy Rogers health food breakfast.
Then hopped the train home, shopped and played.
Fin.

See how easy it is to manipulate people into embracing fascism by putting
some bad guy in a turban on TV everyday.
So, the republicans are now in control. How did this happen, I wonder?
How did Bush pull it off? Hmmm...
Have a fun weekend everyone!
11/3/02
Rely a bit to heavily on alcohol and irony.
So, twas a party weekend. Also something terribly frightening
happened. Tom updated his site.
Also spent much time in Vice City. I don't think I have to link it for you
at this point.
So, Friday, I went to a party at Elyzium's friend's Heidi's place (possessive
run-on sentence?) with Elyzium (duh) and Larry aka Lawrence (depending on if you
ask him or her respectively). Babette also accompanied us and proceeded to
remove her costume an run around naked as soon as we arrived (don't get excited
folks, Babette is a lil poochie. If you're still excited, please do NOT
tell me.) The party was fun, ended up talking to this guy Mike most of the
evening. He'd actually seen the Device and might be headed to Contempt
next Sunday. So we then left, never finding Babette's costume and I headed
home to crash.
Saturday evening (I already told you above what I did most of the day.) was
Timotheus's party. I picked up Li and we got some Dew, and headed over.
Jeff was there and he cooked some great stuff, what with him being all chef-like
and all. He even made some Baba Ghanouj, so everyone claimed that they ate
me at the party. The party was later joined by Sean n Giner. And
then Tricia, Cathy and Theopolis, followed by Scotty Love, and last but
certainly not least, Rosie (Who wasn't going to go, but got convinced to go and
had a great time.) We called Tom and he came over too. Fun was had,
but for some reason in the middle of the party, they hopped on the internet and
went to this site. Then
eventually everyone filtered out and quietude settled over the Burke residence.
Hope I'm not forgetting any significant happenings this weekend. If so, eh
what can you do?
**Support Stephen Baker**
Sun Nov 10th. an all day event called
NY Rocket Ball featuring Anathema
Device at Downtime
aka Albion/Batcave,
NYC. Tickets need to be purchased in advance preferably from the
Device.
So get your asses moving.
Plus an evening of gothish dancing at
Contempt. Fun for one
and all. It's at Filter 14 (formerly Mother from what I hear) 432 West
14th St. (corner of Washington St.) 10:30 PM to 4:00 AM $5 w/pass • $7 w/o
Go to the site to get the pass. I will be there. Li should be
there. And Baker will be there.
I feel like there's something I'm forgetting. Hmmmm...oh well.
Oh yeah. so New York was picked for the US Candidate to host the 2012 Olympic games. Although I feel that if New York wins, many of the events will be held in East Rutherford, New Jersey. But I could be wrong. Should be interesting though. And a big boost to the local economy, which is quite needed.
I want these!

Warm, and mandatory.
Ok so take a look at my new page. It
allows me to place dumb and amusing news links up without having to update my
main page all the time and think up new quotes or other things to say.
It'll be updated randomly when I see these things or if they're sent to me.
Do you play guitar? Ever dreamt of being in a band? With Stephen Baker? Well here's your chance!

I'm a murdiddlyurdler, a murdiddlyurdler!
I realized that I forgot to mention a couple of things about last weekend.
Mainly that Erin smurfed Blanktom at the party on Sat and on sun we had to
maneuver around The Wall of Tall at the concert. The Wall of Tall was a
group of guys at least 6'6" standing in the middle of the floor at the show.
It was interesting.
Don't forget, today is switch your calendar day! So now, at home, I have
H. R. Giger's Aleph looking back at me.
What's on
your calendars?
Don't forget to visit explodingdog
for great pictures.
Fun filled weekend approaching, I hope. See y'all later.
