Oooo...Spooky.
Here
are
a
couple
of
things
to
entertain
you
on
Halloween.
All that plus Weakerthans pictures.
10/29/03
talk about the weather, or how the weather used to be.
Holy interactivity Batman, I've got a forum. Go
talk and stuff.
The Weakerthans show was great. I loved the opening bands, Mico and
Maritime.
Other than that... Josh is our newest winner! He Guessed
yesterday's quote.
That there quote be from Fighter of 8-bit theatre
Episode 341: The Perfect Plan. And how right
he is.
Ed, we must
stop them
before they get to close.
Um...That's all for now.
10/27/03
Oh, what tangled webs we weave when first we play the quiet game!
Me, being the wondrous webmaster that I am, have put up all the pictures
from the past month's events. You can view the last two sets
here and
here.
Do I have anything else to say?
Did I mention that there will be
Dueling Bakers at the
Slipper Room on 11/10?
I have now.
And I have already told you all about the corn maze, so...
Oh, some guess the quote updates...durrr..
Tricia guessed: 10/19 is rachel at
blue coyote correctly
Craig excitedly surmised: 10/22/03 Rosencrantz
and Guildenstern are Dead. I ALMOST thought it was from "Life, the Universe,
and Everything" but it didn't fit right, and it just clicked now. HOO HA!
Until next time, keep your toes wriggling.
10/26/03
You're goin' down. Chainsaw.
So, twas a busy weekend. Sort of...I guess. Friday Tom and I
went to see Intolerable Cruelty.
I thought the movie was great and I laughed heartily many a time during the
film. I recommend that any Coen Brothers fans go see this one.
Saturday was Bill & Helen's Halloween Party. I went with Burke, Rachel,
Tricia, Cathy and Chris. It was a lot of fun and I took some pics that
should be up soon enough. Though I did offer my sober skills and had to
drive Watts home and since Burke drove me there, I had to drop off the crew
and then drive Watts back to my place.
Sunday, aka today, I dropped Watts back off at Tricia's, who was watching
after her pirate buddy. Then Burke and I went to see
Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I enjoyed it, thought the characters reacted like real people who were being
chased by a chainsaw wielding maniac. There were no witty one liners,
just lots of screaming. The movie was quite intense, I was really drawn
in. Now, this may shock some of you, but I've never seen the
original, so I can't compare
it.
Let's see, I spent a big part of my evening posting
Lauren & Dave's wedding pictures.
See, I'm getting caught up. Tricia's surprise party and Bill & Helen's
party don't have half the pictures the weddings did, so they'll be easy.
Craig had a hypnotic picture on his page, so I posted one up on top too.
This Thursday, MvM will be playing at
Connections in Clifton and Friday at Screwy Louie's in Kearny.
Thursday is also, the Horror double feature at the
Daress Theater.
Tuesday is The Weakerthans show.
Yay!
That's it. Here's a pic of the
coolest toy ever. And a wav
from something.
10/25/03
I swear I'm going to bite you hard and taste your tinny blood if you
don't stop those self defeating lies you've been repeating since the day you
brought me home.
I'm usually not into posting the multiple thousands of quizzes out there,
but this one is the best ever:
| What Irrational Number Are You? | |||
You are e Of all the irrational numbers, you are the most intense. By nature you are powerful, although sometimes you can spiral out of control. You are good with money; the interest seems to just compound whenever you are near. When someone uses the word "exponential" they are probably talking about you. In some ways you and φ are a nearly perfect match. Not to mention how attractive φ is. But then, there is the remarkable π... Your lucky number is approximately 2.71828183 | |||
|
Odd, e was always my second favorite irrational number next to pi.
Maybe it's time to rethink that.
Oh, and it's important to remember: never mix up your inhaler and your
handgun. Remember that.

I think I have it. A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a
man talking nonsense not to himself.
Or just as mad.
Or just as mad.
And he does both.
So there you are.
Stark raving sane.
Ok, so it's 1 AM and I finally got wedding pics up, 5 pages of them.
You can see them here.
Craig posted some other wedding pics
here.
I'm tired. I'm going now.
10/20/03
I never drink...wine.
Today is Bela Lugosi's birthday. Happy birthday you wacky old guy!
He would be 121 today!
Step 1: Post the pics from the MvM show.
Step 2: ?
Step 3: Profit
Next come the plethora of wedding pics. and don't worry, if you do not
have my superior education and intellect, I will not get mad at you if you
don't know what a plethora is.
And Craig admits he is a geek, not that he was hiding it. He got the
quote from 10/13. I guess that means I'm a bigger geek for posting it to
begin with.
10/19/03
He's such a moron! M-O-R-A-N!
My brain is a bit fried right now. I spent the past couple of hours
working on the 200 or so pictures I have in Photoshop (for reference, it took
about 10-15 minutes to upload all the pics with my cable modem). I
discovered that I do not like any of Photoshop's designs for web galleries,
but I did figure out that the gallery tool is very useful for resizing
multiple pics. Having to resize them individually is one of the reasons
I was procrastinating posting all the pictures, since I have about 150 from
the weddings alone. Anyway, all the pics are now resized and on my
website, I just need to make pages for them, which isn't so bad. I am
determined to do them in the next couple of days.
The weekend was a fun one. I sacrificed going to
Contempt so that I could surprise
Tricia for her 30th birthday.
Well, it was Cathy's idea. It was held at Picatinny Arsenal's (where
they developed the Tomahawk missile) Rod & Gun club. We had to go
through security (Tm had the following conversation there with the guard: "Do
you have a map?" This is a military base." Oh, right.") and a
concrete barrier slalom and I drove past the club itself, but eventually we
got there and hid in wait. Tricia was quite surprised and fun was had by
all. It was a casino night theme and Cathy actually got dealers and
tables there. There was blackjack, roulette, and craps. And
thankfully it was all fake money because I lost $3000. Though I
discovered that craps is a lot of fun, mainly because I think it was so
complicated. At the end of the night, Tricia, Cathy, Kate, Roy, Kathi,
Chris, Liz, Ken and I retired to a bar that my fried brain can't remember the
name of right now. Then all went home.
Saturday was quite relaxing during the day, though I did run out for some
Clay Oven action and picked up
The Matrix Reloaded. That
night, I picked up Rachel and met quite a few people over at the Blue coyote
Bar & Grill in Hopatcong for Tricia's birthday part II and the Yankees
game. Again, fun and mocking was had by all.
Today (aka Sunday) involved me lounging around, watching the above mentioned
Matrix Reloaded, napping and having fun with all my pictures from the last
month.
I did forget to mention that, on Thursday, PO, Jen, Tom and I went to see
Kill Bill Vol. 1. The
movie was pretty good, but it had all the violence of a
GWAR concert.
I am kinda fried right now, so I think I'm gonna mention a few things, then
check out.
Thursday, October 30th there is a
Devil's Night
double feature at the Darress theater in Boonton.
Also on Thursday, Oct 30th and Friday Oct 31st
MvM is playing somewhere.
hopefully ROSS will tell me where so that I can let you guys know.
Sunday 11/2 a group of us lead by
Craig are hitting the
Corn Maze in Chester.
And Monday 11/10/03 Anathema Device
and Atomic Box are playing at
The Slipper Room in NYC.
If you are interested in any of these events, just
inform me.
Other than that, here's your weekly pic and
wav.
10/13/03
Remember when you said "Mine?" And I said "Forever".
You said " Only forever?" It's forever, now.
Yes I've been very busy and haven't updated much. Part of it was the
two weddings but most of it can be blamed on the
Warcraft III Expansion Set.
Curse them for making a fun game WITH a cool story.
Anyway, both weddings were great. Saturday was Denise and Craig's which
was great with the exception that about half an hour after the ceremony was
supposed to start, the priest ran in and yelled "Sorry!!" The reception
was held at The Tuxedo Club in tuxedo, NY (oddly enough). It was
wonderful and as soon as I get my lazy ass into gear I'll get the pictures up.
Lauren and Dave's wedding was just as great. they had everything at The
Manor in West Orange. Their ceremony was cool, they had a nice knot
tying ceremony. It was lovely and the reception was lots of fun, with some
impromptu belly dancing and Dave trying to get out of the chicken dance.
Again, I'll try to pull myself away from the video game long enough to mess
with the pictures.
And in all this exciting typing, I forgot to mention that we celebrated Bob
john's birthday on friday, even though the actual day was a week before.
It was a fun night for all and we learned all about John Dempsey.
Lets see, what else...
Friday is Contempt at
Remote Lounge. Be there, or be
Rhomboid.
Saturday is onelinedrawing in
Hoboken.
And, looks like I'll be going to
Chiller on halloween. Yay!
Ok, not sure what else to say...i hear the
Night Elves calling to
me...
Here is something amusing AND
disturbing for you.
Here, in order of appearance, are two
weekly
pics and, in keeping
with that theme, your wav.
10/7/03
We can't level, you crazy bastard, we're in advertising!
OK, after a harrowing experience and paying tech support, I've finally
gotten my Norton Internet Security running. Sigh, I was quite pissed
last night when it didn't work, but now...WOW!
The ad-blocker is great! Webpages load so much faster because it doesn't
just block pop-up ads, it blocks all ads.
Plus it has a spam filter for email, which is one of the main reasons I bought
it, since I was getting inundated with spam (30 new emails when I get up in
the morning...).
So, just in case, since I know most of my friends look at this, if you email
me and don't here back from me in a timely manner (which for me is usually a
day or two), that means you somehow got picked up by the spam filter, so
either email me at yahoo or hotmail or IM me to let me know and I'll fix it.
(If you don't have my yahoo or hotmail address contact someone who does)
10/5/03
Who are you?
Explorers in the further regions of experience. Demons to some. Angels to
others.
So, I haven't really updated all week. yeah, I'm a bad parent, plus
I haven't really done anything all week.
This weekend was uneventful for me. Friday, I actually stayed in and
watched Conan. Saturday,
afternoon Zak and crew came over for some non dying D&D action. Later I
went to Tim's and practically fell asleep while watching
Gunbuster. it was
actually 0retty interesting, I was just a bit tired and reading subtitles
didn't help. Today, I had the B5 game crew over. That was pretty
much my uneventful weekend for October.
Tomorrow I'm going suit shopping fro this weekend's weddings. Yup that's
plural, I have one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Congratulations Denise and Craig and Lauren and
Dave!!!
And I guess congratulations Clive Barker, whose birthday it is today.
And Friday was Bob's Birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB (John)
Hopefully I'll eventually post the MvM pics I have at some point.
And, since it is now October, here are the searches from last month that
brought people here:

you Skinny Puppy fans.
| You Are Sam From "Benny & Joon." You are very talented at physical comedy. People are in awe of your abilities. However, you have many quirks which can either win people over or completely annoy them. But you're a sweetheart through and through, and it's hard not to love you. |
