I'm so glad nobody has a cat right now.
I do.
Yeah, but you don't have a demon cat from hell.
I'm not so sure about that.
Yeah, blame these guys for the lack of updates lately.
Though Contempt pics are here.  I posted them a week ago, but never bothered to update the main page.
Oh, and happy Helloween.  And join me in nightmareland by seeing The Grudge.
Don't forget.  Tuesday is National Abstinence day.  No Bush. No Dick!
That is all.

Sleeep.  Sleep now.
Lazy day.  Did nothing, no plans till tonight.  Just laying around in front of the computer.

Got a problem with that?

10/18/04
I may be a little late.  I'm on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Well, that's not so bad.
I'm going back into Manhattan.
Oh...
So, the weekend was quite fun.  Friday night Sean and I went and saw The Forgotten.  It creeped me out but good.
Saturday, I went to Stephen and Melissa's spooky Halloween party.  It took me about 4 hours to get to Connecticut by way of Brooklyn and two hours to get home.  Woohoo, lost is fun.
Sunday I had Indian buffet with me mum.  Plus I retrieved some old board games from the house.  Fun fun fun!
Ok, it's late.  That is all.

We fight for peace and know that war must never be a condition but, rather, a temporary scourge which we suffer as a child does a fever knowing that health follows the long night of pain and that peace is health.
So, It's been fun.  My scourge seems to have calmed down a bit this weekend.  I actually woke up this morning with her lying next to me purring (insert all your awwws here).  Friday, I avoided Medieval Times, personally I don't like it much, stayed home, relaxed, did laundry and watched the debates.  I'm glad I got to see the debate.  I missed the last one, even though I red the transcript.  I must admit, I like Kerry.  I was a bit nervous about him before, but after hearing him speak, I feel much better.  Now, at least, I wont be nervous when voting for him.  Bush...man...that guy sure can sit with a blank look on his face and blink like no one else can.
The above quote is from the novel The Fall of Hyperion by Dam Simmons.  it's a sci-fi novel and is taken from a speech given by the CEO of the Hegemony of Man.  As it read it, it just struck me that it's the antithesis of the thinking of our current regime who is waging a never ending orwellian war.  And, no matter who wins the election, we're stuck in it.  I just hope it's not Bush, so that maybe we can start working our way out of it instead of wading further in with our eyes glued shut with oil.
Anyways, back to our normal programming.  Saturday was interesting.  My nice quiet weekend was replaced with helping a friend move.  And in the evening, I reluctantly headed over to Matt's place for his Halloween party (which I had just learned of that morning.  Lacking a costume I dressed as angsty teen guy and pawned off my Myx scars as cutting.)  I'm glad I went.  The party was lots of fun.  Matt's apartment is way cool.  Food was great (yummy chicken!) Was fun hanging with, T&C, Rachel, Tim, Matt, Georgie, Bill n Helen, matador and nanny (I suck at remembering names).  T&C, remember to get your chairs.
Today was relaxing day as what plans I had fell through.  That is all I will say about that!
Oh, and on Friday, I was working on  a PC in the Youth Ministry of a church/catholic school.  On the wall they had this hanging:

Personally, I find this kind of creepy.  Are the people jumping off the cliff or are they being pushed?
Got another busy week ahead.  Tuesday I get to go down to South Jersey with the boss to reconfigure the email for the municipal building in Berkeley Township.  Apparently while shifting their internet providers, their DNS records got switched and now they can't get email.  So we have to go and setup their exchange server and configure their PCs to get their email from there.  Unfortunately, I remembered late on Saturday night that on Tuesday night I have a vets appointment.  So tomorrow, I need to try and reschedule because I highly doubt I'll be able to get there by 6.
Next Saturday I'll be heading up to the CT for Melissa and Stephen's spooky party.
The Sat after that is Contempt.  Whoopee!
Oh, and here's a kitty that's a lot less psychotic than mine for you guys to play with.
That is all.

So...umm...yeah...
Yeah, I've been quite busy.  Crap it's been a long time.  Well, lets see, I had a horrid stomach virus that took me forever to get over.  I went to Contempt, even though I still wasn't feeling so hot.  Had a good time.  Thanks to Dr Atomic for allowing me to crash at his place and see his robots and ray guns again.  We had lunch the next day at a little place down the street from him and the cook there was very concerned about how well my chicken wrap turned out.  Later, I met up with Li & Tom.   Li had some work to do, so Tom and I walked around Brooklyn for a bit.  We saw this, which I'm not sure what the gore is memorializing, but it sure is sticky.  We then went back, picked up Li and we went to check out The Weakerthans.  The show was lots of fun, and it was interesting to see the band from the left side of the stage, but sad to see that John Sutton was missing and apparently out of the band.
This past week, I got my laptop from work, which has built in wireless networking and thus I'm in my living room typing this while watching Star Wars.
Also, this past Friday, Li, Tom and I went to see They Might be Giants at Irving Plaza.  The show was great.  I was really pleased that they played "Fingertips".  Though Flans almost deafened me during "Super Taster".  Then, on Saturday, a bunch of us gathered for Lauren's birthday.  Twas good to see everyone.  Today, Tom and I saw Shaun of the Dead, which was quite funny.  Well, it's getting late and I'm getting tired, so catch you all later.

Whatever happened to raping and pillaging?
Well, mostly nothing happened this week.  Mostly.  My network connection has been acting up today, so I hope I get to publish this without incident.  Mxyzptlk (Myx) is doing well.  She found her way up to my computer the other day as you can see here and here.  apparently she has something against the gay bar.  Other than that, I saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.  The movie was great.  Fun and visually stunning.  You should all go see it.  Seriously.  It has giant robots.  Go!
I can't believe that I have plans for every weekend in December already.
On 12/4 I'm going to the Symphonic Lord of the Rings
12/10-12/12 is Philcon
12/18 is Handel's Messiah with NY Philharmonic
12/25 is Christmas, duh
Yeah, talk about planning in advance.  Plus got Contempt and The Weakerthans this weekend.  They Might be Giants and Zack's D&D game next weekend.  Busy busy busy.
Well, at least Contempt and The Weakerthans means pics and another update.
Oh, and it is quite difficult to update a website with a furry ball of chaos walking all over your keyboard.

You're in a new position now. You're like the prettiest girl at the prom… or the sluttiest girl if you went to Catholic school.
Wait...I have a web page?  Why didn't anyone tell me about this?  I would've updated or something!
Yeah it's been a busy few weeks.  Since I last updated I had a BBQ of peace, went to Po's BBQ of drunken old lady ("you are all such beautiful people.  What are your dreams?"), helped Li move to Brooklyn (nice apt), signed up to go to Philcon, bought Weakerthans tickets, visited my parents after their vacation in Switzerland (They got me this cool crest.  The lil swords are removable), went to see Hero (Beautiful and awesome), went to Tricia and Cathy's 10th Anniversary party (got to see many people I haven't seen in a long long time), and have a new girl in my life (she's the cutest).  I really need to update more so I could get more details.  It seems that people call or IM me in the middle of an update and then I just want to get it done.  I'll try to be more punctual and witty in the future.  got a few things coming up:
9/17 - Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow  Definatly seeing that!
9/22 - Smallville Premiere!  Yay!
9/25 - Contempt at Remote Lounge.  I am so there
9/26 - The Weakerthans at Bowery Ballroom.  Can't wait.

So, sorry for the laps anyone who reads this.  I'll try to do better.
