Dear Boss,
I keep on hearing the police have caught me but they wont fix me just yet. I have laughed when they look so clever and talk about being on the right track. That joke about Leather Apron gave me real fits. I am down on whores and I shant quit ripping them till I do get buckled. Grand work the last job was. I gave the lady no time to squeal. How can they catch me now. I love my work and want to start again. You will soon hear of me with my funny little games. I saved some of the proper red stuff in a ginger beer bottle over the last job to write with but it went thick like glue and I cant use it. Red ink is fit enough I hope ha. ha. The next job I do I shall clip the ladys ears off and send to the police officers just for jolly wouldn't you. Keep this letter back till I do a bit more work, then give it out straight. My knife's so nice and sharp I want to get to work right away if I get a chance. Good Luck.

Sore thumbs. Do they stick out? I mean, have you ever seen a thumb and gone, 'Wow! That baby is sore!'
Ow, my achin thumbses!

8/29/03
Turn around, stick it out, even white boys gotta shout
I just feel like updating every day.  So there!

8/28/03
It's not stupid, it's advanced!
Update. BAM!

Well spiders have a highly developed sense of smell the perfume might confuse them.
Great if we die we die smelling nice.
You ever go into the bathroom and just as you sit down or step in the shower the phone or doorbell rings?  Well, I'd prefer that to having this charge at me!

At the rate the liberals are going, it won't be long before our country has an official policy mandating the separation of church and state.

My god, it's full of stars...
Well, I'm tired, so it's gonna be a short update.  Been busy combined with much driving.  I have some hazy pics taken from Sunrise Mountain and Dingman's Ferry last Thursday, but I feel to lazy to resize them and such right now, so it may not be till this weekend when they are seen.
I really don't know what to say today  I had to drive down to Long Branch Friday and to day and will continue to do so every day for the rest of the week for some reason.  I just didn't want go to long without an update.
Ok, I'm gonna go, if you want to know what happened this weekend, ask Scott.
Oh, here isz your picture.

That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.
Today in 1890 Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born in Providence, Rhode Island.
In celebration, I give you this.
On the news front, we here at babakganoosh were misinformed about that Anagram we gave you a way back.  Apparently the correct one is ROAST MULES, and the clue is something along the lines of something any child can do.  And the answer is SOMERSAULT.  Enjoy.  If you are having trouble with it, just look at this.  It'll make you feel better.

8/18/03
I don't know what to say the monkeys wont do.
So, I got the pics up for Zax picanic.  you can look at them if you'd like.
Also, you can check out pictures of Buddy, that's JMS's Cat (He's the guy who crated Babylon 5)
Umm...nothing else to report.  Eh.

8/17/03
But then I had an epiphany while we were roasting alive.
Elephanty?  Is that like a pachyderm?
No, my stupid, stupid, friend.
So, i decided to try and redo my guestbook.  Go over and sign it again or even for the first time, eh?  Hopefully this time it will come out in order.
Ok, well my weekend was different from what I expected since I didn't actually do either of the two things that I had planned.  Instead of going to the AB&G, I ended up going to Tom's.  that's right, Tom's.  We were eventuall joined by ROSS and Jack and pizza.  We watch some weird DVD programme from England that Tome has.
Saturday I went to a picanic with Zak and some of his friends.  It was fun and I took a few pictures and will  hopefully get them up tomorrow.  Afterwards we played this card game called pounce (or something wacky that Rimpy and her sister called it).  It was kind of similar to solitaire, but with multiple players.  That evening ROSS came over to be geeky and work on a character for my B5 game.  We were also joined by Giner and  we multitasked as we watched Manhunter (in case you are unaware, this was the original adaptation of the novel, Red Dragon).
Sunday, AKA today, there was a whole lotta nothing.  Well, DVD watching, but that pretty much sums it up.
In other news:
Tom guessed the past two quotes:
8/7/03
I am the monarch of the sea...
From HMS Pinafore.   I did cheat a little on that one though.   I would also have accepted Salah from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
8/14/03
A line has been drawn against the Darkness, and we will hold that line, no matter the cost-          From Babylon 5 - Partial credit goes to Bobbank for the confirmation!
Tom is correct.  So he gets his own webpage!
I guess that's about it.  Maybe I'll think of more to say tomorrow.
I did post my resume off to the side there, with my personal information removed.  Seriously, if you have the possiblity of getting me a job, I can send you my proper resume.
Well, finally for this weeks pic.  This was chosen after seeing the Dennis Leary Roast, twice.

8/14/03
A line has been drawn against the Darkness, and we will hold that line, no matter the cost.
Well around 4:15 or so today, while I was in the shower (ah, the unemployed life),  the lights dimmed for a bit but then came back on.  Apparently we were lucky because NYC, most of the northeast, parts of Canada, Cleveland and Detroit are without power.  Damn.  So, if you care to respond, I will make a list.  Where were you when the lights went out?
In other news, I got some responses for the daily quotes.
There was basically a tie for 8/11 with emails arriving within minutes of each other
PM: cause I said it!!!! and i am referring to ken
CH: that famous (now infamous) quote was from Tricia Maguire at the 2003 Summer Party Extravaganza (the Kenvil Experience)
And for 8/9, despite Rosie's many attempts, the final answer was given by CH
it’s from a woody woodpecker cartoon… Man, I can't believe it took so long to get that one.  Plus, if anyone can find a wave file of that please send it to me.
And, good ol' Li, who's stuck in the dark,  got the one from 8/13
its from the two towers. i think its sam talking to gollum.
Um...That's all I can think of for now.  see some of you at the AB&G tomorrow and some at Contempt on Saturday

8/13/03
What we need is a few good taters.
What's taters, precious? What's taters, eh?
Po-tay-toes. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.
I'm hungry.

8/11/03
He's gonna go home, drop a deuce, and THEN hit it.
So, I had a good weekend.  Fun, fun, fun and fun too.
Friday was another fun night at the AB&G, but this time was a rare appearance from Kat.  Then on Saturday, the sky opened up just in time for T&Cs big summer party.  Despite the heave rain, several peeps went into the pool.  Though a couple came running when I took a picture, thinking that they saw lightning.  (I was amused).  I was also amused when Georgie got out of the pool and ran through the rain fast so she wouldn't get wet...  Anyway, the food was great and it was fun talking to people.  Including Roy, Katie, Tricia (a different one) and Sean (a different one) who I didn't get snapshots of (If I said something about stuffed cakes, would you think of something similar to a stuffed animal or something containing Bavarian kreme?).  I got some pics, you can see them here.  Sunday consisted of hanging out all day, then at night Rachel came over to give us a balloon and watch the Dennis Leary Roast.  That was great, I especially liked when his priest made some jokes, that guy was quite funny.
OK, a couple of announcements.
This Thursday is Craig's birthday, so you should wish him joy and such.
This Saturday is Contempt.  It's at 10pm at Remote Lounge -- Lower Level 327 Bowery (btw 2nd & 3rd Streets).  See you there.
And, the pic of the week.

8/9/03
If Woody had gone straight to the police, none of this would ever have happened.
Well, I was shooting for a daily update thing this week, but I had absolutely nothing to say yesterday.  Alas...  So, anyways, last night was yet another fun AB&G night, which was fun mainly because Jen felt me up.  Yup, she handled my man boobs.
I got this email today.  I'm not sure, I think it may be a scam, but then again...

8/7/03
I am the monarch of the sea...
So, Tom actually responded and guessed several of the quotes:
8/6/03"I'll have my new webpage up at the end of the week. You'll see, it'll be great!"
-Tom O'Keefe (btw, it is up and i just ain't tellin you the name)
I believe you, why would you lie
8/5/03
"Hey Steve!"
-Hey Steve in 'Crazy Cartoon'
I would also have accepted 'Sweet Cuppin Cakes'
8/3/03
"I walk in a Chinese restaurant and can’t get cheese
They ask me to order something else please
But this is America
I demand my cheese
In a Chinese restaurant I do as I please"
-I'm guessing Dave Brockie
From the song 'The Chinese Have No Cheese'
8/2/03
"One, two, Freddy's coming for you! / Three, four, better lock your door! / Five, six, grab your crucifix! / Seven, eight, better stay up late! / Nine, ten, never sleep again! "
-From all those Nightmare on Elm Street Movies
So, Tom gets the prize, and that is having his website mentioned on this page, so here is Tom's website.  Anyway, Last night I had a great dinner, Ham with a cranberry sauce, peas and baked potato.  now that isn't all that amazing until you realize that I made it all myself.  Neato, eh?

I'll have my new webpage up at the end of the week.  You'll see, it'll be great!
So, first off, Amanda correctly guessed the quote from 8/4 as from Star Wars (C'mon it was an easy one.)  And thus proving that the guess the quote thing is still alive and that I just pick REALLY obscure things as my quotes.
I just wanted to share with you two pictures that made me laugh heartily
and what if i do?
hey you, off my cloud
That's all for now.

8/5/03
Hey Steve!
I just wanna say thanks to tom for buying me the best thing ever!

8/4/03
Who is this? What's your operating number?
So, I'm experimenting here.  I put up two little links there over on the side that supposedly let you IM me through AOL or Yahoo messengers.  I also have MSN, but don't know how to link it yet.  So, try it out if you want.  If they don't work or it gets annoying, I'll take em off.   Otherwise...neato.  Anyway, if you know how to link to MSN like that, or if I did something wrong (aka, I never get back to you) email me.

Well, I’m writing this on 7/3 even though the update wont be posted until 7/4 due to cable modem outage thanks to lil miss thunderstorm.  So, since my local copy of my Webpage is dated 4/28/02, I’m using word now and plan to cut and paste it when my connection comes back.
So, my weekend was mostly uneventful, Saturday I went over to Mom and Pops for some BBQ action.  My dad got a gas grill from a friend and wanted to test it out.  I must say the burgers were burgerlicious.  Then we chatted for a bit and I got stuck there because Trading Spaces was on.  Now I don’t normally watch this show, but if I’m somewhere where it’s on, I’m stuck.  So, yes, I do like it, but I just don’t watch enough TV to actually watch it regularly.  Anyways, so Sunday I putzed around and then watched Once Upon a Time in America.  Great film by a great director, Sergio Leone.  I admit that it started out a bit slow, but once it picked up, boy did it pick up.  I highly recommend this film to everyone.  Well everyone except that funny lookin guy in the back.  GET OUT OF HERE!!!  Freak.
So, after that I sat around and flipped channels, watched VH1s 100 greatest list shows of all times (you laugh, but it’s only a matter of time.)
Then my neck started hurting.  It’s one of those weird things that hurts every time you turn your head a certain way and for the life of you, you don’t know why.  Well I know why my neck hurts.  See, my neck hurts whenever I turn it to the left.  And what’s to the left?   LIBERALS AND GODLESS HEATHENS!!!  That’s right!  So I’m being punished by our lord and his representative on earth, G W Bush!  Now, I can only turn my head to the right.  And what does right mean?  Right means correct!  So now my head is forever turned from the left, from the path of liberalism, and terrorism ands sin!
Here's the pic of the week.  Guess which one is real!
I think I’m gonna go listen to some Dave Brockie now.

8/2/03
One, two, Freddy's coming for you! / Three, four, better lock your door! / Five, six, grab your crucifix! / Seven, eight, better stay up late! / Nine, ten, never sleep again!
Happy Birthday Wes Craven!!!!
Oh, and you can now view all my DVD's here.  Neato...
