And always remember the longer you live, the sooner you bloody well die
So, time for a midweek update (Huzzah)
I got the pics up from Jack's party, you can see what few I took here.
Then on Tuesday, I met up with D-mo and John in Clifton to see DBX.  For those of you who don't know, DBX is 3 members of GWAR, playing a bunch of punk-like stuff.  It was pretty cool, we hung out in the bar before the show and talked to him for a bit, we were introducing ourselves and he looked at me and said, "Didn't I meet you before?"  I was amazed, since I did meet him at his last show in Clifton a YEAR AND A HALF AGO.  Am I that memorable?  Is it because I wear weird T-shirts?  I mean, that helped me get caught by people I didn't know while playing manhunt in Brooklyn one time, but this?  Anyway, the show was lots of fun, you can go and look at my handy digital pics over here.  I even included a easy reference GWAR-DBX comparison guide.  Um...That's it I think.

The never-ending soda...
So it was a fun weekend after Friday night.  Saturday, I drove down to D-mo's for a rousing game of D&D.  No one died this time, well Li's character almost did, but since she wasn't there, Zak decided to be nice.  Damn black knights.
That evening was a rousing round of America's Most Wanted with Carnage.
Sunday was Jack's Birthday, so at the predetermined time I headed out to join the festivities and promptly sat in traffic for 45 minutes for 5 miles.  But I finally arrived.  It was fun and Ross was a good cook.  Though later he didn't go along with our plan to turn him into a flame thrower.  sigh...He's no fun.  Ed was there  as well as many others.  some of whom I knew, some of whom I didn't.  But that's pretty much how life goes, is it not?  We basically stayed well into the evening until it started to rain upon us.  Then we hightailed it out of there.  Oh, and apparently, according to Tom, you should not touch the plant in the back corner of Jack's yard.  It is bad.
I did get the shore pics and Sean's birthday pics up.  Either just click on those links or head over to Events to check them out.  Jacks pics will be up eventually.
It looks like it might be a quiet week this week.  but I'm sure something will happen.  hopefully something that does not involve serious injury for me.
Stephan sent me a couple of pictures this weekend, including the D&D one he took.
There is this new line of perfume geared toward certain ladies.
A new movie coming out based on a true story.
And a new add that the military is using.  Simple and to the point.
And if those weren't enough, here is your pic of the week.  The truth revealed.

7/25/03(Technically)
I hope this means that you're on your way to the AB&G because...oh wait, I think I see you...never mind.
So tonight we got to see Ed.  He's back from China briefly and everyone came out to the AB&G to see him.  Even Josh and Carol...yay!  (Now I have your phone number...mwuhahahahaha!!)  It was great to see Ed, and discuss Cyborg Ninjas of course, but sad to hear that his grandmother had died.  Though on the way back from the AB&G I did pass a truck that used its right blinker every time it went left and it's left blinker every time it went right.  At least it was consistent.
On a related note, James came back from Shanghai tonight for a week or so.  I think it may be some kind of covert invasion or something.   Probably or something.
Oh and Li and Goostah are off to Canadia.   Have fun guys!!

Well, I've gotten pics up for the 4th of July and the Native American Festival.  The Shore pics have to be resized and sorted, but they'll be up in the next couple of days.
A couple of notes and/or reminders.

I cannot express how much you should NOT  be doing that!
I'm back!   Yes I know you are all excited.  I have lots of pics to share.  hope to have them up Monday or Tuesday as well as the pics from the previous weekend.
LBI was loads of fun.  I went down on the 11th with Li.  We were then joined by Goostah, Matt and Kristina.  Then Tom decided to join us.  Friday night we got our bucket of cheese fries and Tom experimented with ludicrous wings.   The conversation with the place went something like this (Matt is speaking to the order taker person):
"And we'd like a six piece order of ludicrous wings."
"Have you ever HAD the ludicrous wings before?"
"It's an experiment."
"OK, it's better if you have them naked."
"...."
"That means there's no breading on them."
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh..."
Hoo-boy they were hot!  It took about half an hour for me to get feeling back in my lips after eating one of them..  On sat we hit the beach, then Brian, Jess and Evil Tom arrived.  In the evening Katherine and Shores arrived also Tom decided to share some remaining wings with Evil Tom.  They each had one and drank a half gallon of milk ands ate half a loaf of bread afterwards.  They stayed for a day and were replaced by Tricia, Cathy (or is it Cathy then Tricia?) and Tim.  We all hung out and did some shell collecting, bought hats, and watched the sunset and got eaten by lil tiny bugses.  On Monday, T, C & T were replaced by Lisa.  She was there until Thursday and we all had mucho fun including Wacky Golf and Victorian Golf.  We also played some Carcassonne and Quiddler.  She also told us about an anagram she's trying to figure out:  ROASTED MULES.  Apparently it's a household item that's just one word.  If you can figure it out, let me know and I'll pass it on.
So, Wednesday night Tom was hitting on Goostah, I think it was the alcohol, or maybe something to do with Boston.  Thursday Tom left us for Boston and Lisa left for somewhere.
Friday, we hung out till evenink when Baker and Melissa arrived.  We hung out for a bit, but everyone was tired.  Saturday we all hit the beach, then Baker, Melissa  and Goostah went for fudge, while Li and I headed back for Sean's birthday party.  We got there and it was lots o fun.  Carnage was there and so was D-mo and of course Giner.  We were also joined by Doug (whom I haven't seen in years) and Lenore, Dave and Lauren, ROSS and a few others.  (if you're one of the others, I'm sorry I forgot you.)  It was good, we had BBQ and cake.  There was much more, but I'm getting a bit tired right now.  I'll update more tomorrow and work on some pics.
Speaking of which.  Here's your pic for this week.

A shard of glass? but that's - IMPOSSIBLE!
Shame on me.  I've been lazy and haven't done anything with the pics from last weekend.  Well, I resized them and uploaded them, but haven't made a page for them yet.  And tomorrow I'm going down the shore for a week to LBI and right now I just don't feel like it.  So it looks like you guys will have to wait for a bit.  but, just think, you have the 4th pics, Pow-wow pics AND shore pics to look at.  Wowie wow wow!  Yeah I know.  Umm...Go see Pirates of the Caribbean.  It's wicked fun.
On another note, while I'm down the shore (ah, wacky New Jersey phrases), my sister is going to go to England.  What a crazy travellin family we are.
Lators Gators.

They're not capacitated right now.
So was a busy holiday weekend for me.
First off, the last 2 quotes which no one got which are in the archives now were as follows:
6/27 - Faith (Eliza Dushku) and Xander (Nicholas Brenden) from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode The Zeppo.
6/30 - The Professor from Futurama.
7/1 - Fighter from 8-Bit Theater.
Second off, I got a whole bunch a hits from the University of Central Florida.  Who do I know there?  If I don't know you, who are you?  Let me know, I'm curious.
Thirdly, I'm getting a lot of hits of people looking for a GE Digital Answering Machine Model 2-9869a.  So since Baker found me the PDF, I figured I'd post it for all you folk.  Aren't I nice?
So, my fun filled weekend.
Well, Thursday was Franz Kafka's birthday.  That has nothing to do with me, but I thought I'd mention it.
Friday was July 4th, rah rah USA, so, I went up to my Aunt's house and stopped on the way to pick up Kat, cause she was bored and lives 5 minutes from my Aunt.  So we went there and hung out.  At one point the bathroom door got jammed, at least with no one in it, so my uncle had to drill through the lock to open the door.  We had yummy BBQ and yummier desserts.  Then my relatives gave me birthday checks, just a tad belated, but oh well.  then Kat and I went down to Clifton to hang out with Jack, Renee and Annie.  We went to the roof of Renee's apt and watched fireworks.  It was great, we could see several different fireworks displays going on including some out in NYC.  Then we hung out for a bit and showed Renee and Annie the joys of Homestarrunner.net "It's dot com!"  After a bit of that, we parted ways and went home.
Saturday was a relaxing day, I hung out all morning and in the afternoon went to see Sean and Timmy and Craigy.  Later John D stopped by, and it was great because I haven't seen him in years.  We were also joined by D-Mo.  fun was had.  And if it wasn't everyone was great at faking it.
Today, Rachel, Tom, Kat and I went to a Native American Festival up in the Sussex County Fairgrounds.  It was lots of fun.  There were people performing various dances, booths to buy many a thing, a birds of prey (the actual birds, not the TV show) booth, and food.  We watched some dancing, walked around, got food (I had and Indian Taco, which is fry bread, chili, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions and some fresh lemonade.  Later I had some strawberry lemonade YUM!).  We then watched the Birds of Prey display.  The falconer did a display of the hawks hunting ability buy having a guy run around with a furry ball on a leash and the hawks flew after it (they were loose, but followed the falconer's orders).  One of them missed and landed between my legs.  Does that mean I'm some kind of hawk superhero?  After that, we ran back to the dance area to see the hoop dancers.  This time they had a couple of young girls doing hoop dances.  They were pretty good.  Then we watched the Aztec dancers.  They had the best costumes.  The only complaint I have about the day was it was to damn hot.  And plus I got sunburn, but that was inevitable.  On the way back we got  ice cream and large drinks.  Yum on both accounts.
I did take lots of pics of the weekend stuff, but right now I'm to tired to resize and upload them.  I will get them up sometime this week and then next weekend it's off to the shore for a week.  Yippeee!! Cheese fries for everyone!!!
Well, here's your pic.  Talk to you all later.
Why do I feel that I've forgotten something.
Oh, and thanks to Giner, who kindly looked it up, the birds roaming my back yard area are apparently turkeys.
Oh, and check out the successor to balnktom.com.
