I'm back from China! I did not get sick, nor arrested (Alas poor Dieter.) Yaaayy!!! No that's bad Gir! Yaaayy! Anyway, yes I have returned and will put up some info on the trip and probably some pics as soon as I can borrow a scanner, and I was promised borrowing rights so don't you fret. I saw some cool things, met some cool people and discussed boars on stilts, all in all, a fun time was had (unless I hear "Hello, DVD VCD" one more time grrrrr).

Heh, heh, heh,
heh, heh, heh, heh, drool. This was much better than Episode I and I
actually liked that one. It had lots of action, a good plot, some
political stuff going on, hordes of lightsabers, and Yoda (If you've seen it,
you know what I mean. If you haven't...Go NOW!!!) Ok, now for some
nitpicking. The romantic scenes were weak as was the dialog betwixt Anakin
and Amidala. Well, that's all I can think of for now, I'm sure I could
spot more after the next few viewings, as a matter of fact I'm going back today.
and you should too.

Atomic Box will be playing at
Albion Batcave at Downtime, 10pm 251 W 30th St (between 7th and 8th Ave).
If you missed their first performance go see this one.
On a similar note,
Uberjerk will be
playing CB's 313 Gallery on Sunday, June 2,
at 9 PM. Why did they choose
Sunday? I think it's just because Da Gusta is quite mad.

All right folks, this is the last update before I go away. Where am I going you ask? Oh, you're not asking? Well I'm telling you anyway. I'm off to China for two weeks. Why? Because I can. And even though I'm leaving in 3 days, it hasn't quite hit me yet. Probably wont till I'm in the air. I bought some cameras, maybe if I can borrow a scanner from somewhere, I'll post some pics when I return. Well here's a couple of items:
Scratchbomb DID perform at Chris's Apartment on Friday. All of you who missed it obviously suck. It was a good show despite him not remembering a song that was requested and many people doing odd things in the bathroom while he was playing (you know who you are). But what's on everyone's mind? When will we hear Shovel of Truth? Or when will the mighty Scratchbomb make a public appearance? hmmm......
*Movie Review*
WOW!!! This was
fun, great and fun too. I've never followed the comic extremely close, but
this movie held up mostly to what knowledge I have. The major differences
I noticed were: Spider-man producing natural webs rather than inventing them,
and the combining of the characters Gwen Stacey and Mary Jane Watson into one.
These were minor in my opinion and there may have been others am unaware of.
Toby Maguire was great as Peter Parker and Spidey. Willem Dafoe as Norman
Osborne and Green Goblin had some great scenes with himself. And they got
J. Jonah Jameson perfect right down to the haircut. Yeah some of the
special effects were obvious and cheesy, but the story and acting were great.
This movie sucks you in and doesn't let go. Go see it, and when you're
done....go again. I hear this movie is kicking Harry Potter's butt, so
let's keep it going!

Only one day till you change your calendars! And only one week and one day till I go far, far away! Not much going on here right now, Just updating from work a bit. And wanted to share this very important info with you all: Is Your Family Prepared for Zombie Attack? Unfortunately this does not protect you from UberJason attack.

YAAAAAYYYY!!!! I'm here and hopefully will keep this up for a while. This page I plan to update every now and then to tell stories, rant or just plain spew madness for the enjoyment of myself and others. Yeah, it looks bad now and quite basic, but I wanted to get something going before I go away for vacation in a week.
*Movie Review*
Well, if you are
looking for a great movie and engrossing plot, look further. If you are
looking for something to scare the pants off of you, keep going. If you
want to see something completely stupid, this is the movie for you. This
movie has a lot of cheese factor and is hysterical. Consider that,
according to the credits, after Jason gets his 'upgrade', he's known as
UberJason, as well as the other little one liners that I'd only severely
misquote if I tried. And lets not forget that the movie 'borrows' heavily
from Alien (People trapped on a ship with a killing creature, moving in
the cargo area, crew splits up to leave via shuttle... you get the picture)
Final verdict: If you like laughing at cheese and bad movies, go see this.
Jason X is more akin to a comedy than a horror flick.
**Announcement**
Rumor has it that there will be a special guest appearance by
Scratchbomb at Chris's Apartment on Friday May 3rd. This will be
Scrathcbomb's third live appearance. Now this is a rare chance to see a live
performance by the elusive artist. So if you missed his debut performance
at Matt's apartment, and his second outing at The Shore House, the I highly
recommend that you do not miss this rare outing by such a reclusive performer.
