"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where-"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go."
"-so long as I get somewhere,"
"Oh, you're sure to do that, if you only walk long enough."
Figured I'd do an update even though I don't really have anything to update about.
Today Charles Dodgson was born in Cheshire, England in 1832.  This weeks quote is from a story he wrote.
Lets see, I basically spent my entire weekend from Friday afternoon (When I got some Panera YUM and did laundry at my parents) until Monday afternoon (When I went grocery shopping) without leaving my apartment.  It was just to damn cold.  Plus I didn't want to spend any money.  So, my fun weekend involved watching DVDs (Buffy season 6 & Benny & Joon) and playing video games.
I removed my email links in an effort to reduce spam.  You know how to get in touch with me anyway.  You're smort.
Blah, I have nothing clever to say, so here's some topical versions of a pic and a wav.

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
So, no guesses on this one, it's obvious.
Anyway, had a fun weekend.  Friday was Contempt.  Had a great time there, took pictures, wrote comments.  Li n Goose left a bit early, I stayed and enjoyed the atmosphere (Aaa! The atmosphere!)   Later in the evening/morning a couple of heavy songs were played and a mosh pit broke out, twas much fun.  After wards I headed back to Li's to pick her up and head back to Jersey.  got back around 4:30ish and there was a message from Zak.  He was sick so the game on Sat was cancelled.  Bummer.
So Saturday, Li and Scoot and I decided to go see Return of the King again (Thanks T&C for the $5 off coupon!).  We stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way and I got the slowest guy.  First he dropped my bagel on the floor and had to get another one, then he didn't know how to ring me up right.  At least he undercharged me by about $1.50.
Anyways the movie was great again, of course, and we went to the Diner after and then got Li to the station just as the train arrived.  That evening Sean, Tom and Rachel came over.  Rachel gave me my Xmas gift (Dude, Where's My Country.  Yay!) and we watched another Peter Jackson opus, Frighteners.
Sunday was a snow day and I spent much of it playing Tron 2.0.  Then watched the Demi Moore Military Marathon (A Few Good Men and G.I. Jane)
I wish I was in Tijuana eating barbecued iguana.
Sorry, got distracted by music.
G0ot nothin else to say really.  So, in line with my new obsession, here's a pic and wav.

If we ain't outta here in ten minutes, we won't need no rocket to fly through space.
This amused/annoyed/freaked me out.  Enjoy it.
Tonight is Contempt, but since you are all lame, you aren't going.
Well, here are a few quote guesses and by few, I mean two.
Tricia guesses the quote from 1/2/04:
Season 4 Buffy “Hush”
I hope I figured it out before Cathy reads your site
Yes you did.  And you figures it out correctly too.
And Li guesses the quote from 1/12/04:
I'm a pacifist
You're a thing that babies suck on?
No dude, that's a pedophile.
From 1/12/04 Is from The Big Lebowski. Its Walter and the Dude talking.
Alas, you are incorrect.  It was one of the funniest lines ever from the funny web series Red vs Blue Season 2 Episode 1.  Laugh you silly creatures, laugh.
Well, have a good weekend, all.

So, I had a fun weekend.  How about you?  I can't hear you, you have to speak up.   Ha ha got you!  This is just a web page, I can't hear you no matter how loud you talk.  Teehee.
Anyway, Thursday was ChefJeff's graduation from ICE.  Got some nice pics here.  After the ceremony, Jeff, Maria, Burke and I met up with Li and Goose at the Beauty Bar.  It was pretty cool.  It had old hairdryers and equipment from the 50s in the place.  They also had a weird raffle.  After a bit, we went to Totem to hang there for quite some time.  Then we all headed home.
Friday I had to drive Burke to get his car fixed.  Other than that, I cannot recall doing anything, really.  If I am mistaken about this, feel free to let me know.
Saturday was rather uneventful till the evening when I joined Tricia, Cathy, Ken, Liz, The Blairstown Babes, Helen, Bill, Keira and George at Brewhaha.  Fun was had by all, even those who didn't participate in Karaoke or Dancing (Go Fly Girls!)  Tricia gives the evening better justice, so Just go and read.
Sunday was fun.  I picked up Stephen and we met Tom and Kat at the movies to see Big Fish.  I thought the movie was great and Tim Burton did a great job mixing the dramatic with the fantastic.  I recommend that everyone see this.  Except Tom.  Afterwards, Stephen and I stopped at my place where he fed his internet addiction.  We then went to Macaroni Grill where he was kind enough to pay.  After we stopped and got beverages where he was quite overwhelmed by the amount of choices we have compared to England.  We then went to Burke's where he fed his internet addiction again, though he did take a break to watch Hard Boiled for a bit.
Today was uneventful mostly.
Let's see
Friday is Contempt at Remote Lounge.
Sunday is David Lynch Night at Totem
Oh, definatly check out these.
I have a pic for you (which is my new desktop) and a wav (which is long but topical)

1/2/04
Can't even shout, can't even cry
The gentlemen are coming by
Looking in windows, knocking on doors
They need to take seven and they might take yours
Can't call to mom, can't say a word
You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.
You want pictures?  You got pictures.

Looks can be deceiving.
Not as deceiving as a low down, dirty deceiver.
Well said.
Happy New Year and all that.
People have been bugging me about updating my webpage.  The same people that I've seen several times over the past wee and a half.  So their eager to read about things on the web that they've experienced in real life.  Makes me feel better about my life.
So, why haven't I updated my page?  Well, i've been busy.  Not doing anything exciting really, though there has been some of that, but mostly watching the DVDs and playing the video games that I got for Xmas.  Yes i got quite a few DVDs as well as a Forman Grill that I'm looking forward to using (need to buy stuff to cook on it first).  Also was one of those 264 CD holder cases that allowed me to get a bit organized. A couple of books and a cool jacket.  I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out, but thanks everyone for being so cool and generous.
Speaking of which, Goose was nice and got me a ticket to see TMBG on the 26th.  I was accompanied by, Tom, Ed, Kat, Li and Goose himself.  We had a great time, though I did not conga, but the wave and confetti explosion were awesome fun.
Saturday was Ed's homecoming party.  Lots of fun was had by all, though Scott drank to much not realizing that I was falling asleep by the time he wanted to leave.  so he sobered up and I slept the entire trip home and woke up just in time to watch him drive past our exit.  We turned around and got hoime in two pieces.
I had a few relaxation days and then New Years eve party at Tim's with mucho people, good food and much fun.
New Years day was spent D&Ding and hanging out with that crowd.
Well, i guess you guys also want to see all the pictures that I took, well you'll have to wait for a bit.
In other news, Happy Birthday Isaac Asimov!!  One of the greatest Science Fiction authors ever.  If you've never heard of him, how is it possible that you are my friend?
As for last time's quote, here's Tom's guess:
Here are you're quotes from 2/24
"Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat" - some old Christmas diddy, I think it's traditional so it doesn't belong to anyone. But it goes a little something like this
"Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat
Please to put a Penny in an old man's hat
If you don't have a penny, a ha'penny will do
If you don't have a ha'penny then god bless you" Or something like that.
The other quote
"Could you be more obvious with the quote on your blog? Return of the King, Gimli and Lego(las). 'That still only counts as one!'"
That was said by Craig when he was responding to one of your other quotes.
Tom is correct on both accounts.  Plus he's some sort of funny guy too.
Anyway, here's your weekly pic, which is appropriate considering what occurs next week.  And your wav, which sums up how I feel about it being 2004.
