What is your major malfunction numbnuts?
So, I had to drive into the city today to deliver some PCs to a customer.  We got near the place and parked to find the correct building and such.  We found it and also found a parking spot free right in front.  So I went back to move the van, but the key wouldn't turn in the ignition.  We tried shaking the wheel and such, but to no avail.  So I called my boss and he found a garage nearby.  They sent a tow truck.  And while they were coming, we unloaded the van and got some lunch.  MMmmm...stromboli.  So the tow truck got there and I went with them whilst my partner in captivity went to work on some of the computers.  As we were driving to the garage, the driver asked how I was going to pay for the tow.  I had a company credit card so I said I'd use that.  He said cash only.  So, he pulled over at a bank and I ran in to use the cash machine.  We got to the garage and I paid him and kept the receipt sos my boss will pay me back.  In the garage, the guy looked at it and found out that the ignition cylinder needed replacement.  So he called around for the part and worked on the van while I hung out in the office with a girl who barely spoke ingles.  We did chat a bit though and I found out that she had come from the Dominican Republic about 5 months ago and she's learning English so she can do accounting.  After sitting around there for 3 hours the part arrived and the van was fixed.  At least for this I was able to use the company card.  So, I picked up Todd, who had finished a few of the installs and we headed back to the Jersey.  The End.   Or is it?

We have to strike now, sir! Annihilate! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!
Found this cool Iraq War 2.0 simulator.  Check it out.  It's quite amusing and seems like it's pretty accurate.
I didn't watch the stare of the union address.  Well I watched about 5 minutes of it and that was enough to annoy me.  If I watched the whole thing I'd be really pissed by now.
C'mon folks.  I only got 1 guess so far for yesterday's quote.  I actually offered a prize this time.  Geez people.

Black as midnight, black as pitch, blacker than the foulest witch.
So, I had a busy weekend, how about you?
Friday night, I had an interesting political chat with my grandmother on the phone.  Turns out she's scared of cowboy George as much as I am.  Well, maybe not as much as I am, but hey, it was a cool chat.  After that, I ended up watching some old Tom Cruise movie.  Then I did something, then went to bed.
Saturday, whoa Saturday!  Oh boy, oh boy!  Yeah, so, Saturday I went to visit my Aunt and Uncle who, as a Christmas gift, wanted to take me out to a Mexican place to eat.  We went to Mamacita's.  the food was good.  the service was good, but possibly because they knew the guy.  I had some jalapeņo soup and some burritos.  Yummers.  Then I hung with them for a bit and then went to Kat's to hang with her, Tom and Carnage.  We ended up going to get movies and pizza.  First we watched Double Whammy, and while it's not about Press Your Luck, it does have Dennis Leary AND Steve Buscemi.  It was really great and funny, you should rent it now!  We also watched Goldmember, which, while funny, was pretty much all the same stuff from the other films.  It's a good rent.  After this, I headed home and crashed.
Sunday bloody Sunday I was hanging out relaxing before seeing the game with Zak, when who should call, but Zak.  Apparently, a friend of his hadn't seen The Two Towers yet and he was going to take her to see it.  So, after half a second's hesitation, I agreed to join them.  So, I droved to Zak's and we went to go see the penultimate LOTR film.  They were hungry so we stopped to get some food.  Now, maybe Tina's car (that's Zak's friend, yo) had some crazy fumes in it because we went to Chuck E Cheeses.  Well, plus it was right next to the theater.  Wow!  What a horrid experience.  Ok, so it was amusing as well.  there was one waitress who was helping with a party singing and such who's face had the most bored expression this side of a comatose cactus (I don't know what that means either, but you get the idea.)  The food took a bit and sucked, well except for mine, but you can't really screw up mozzarella sticks.  Plus, they had Mello Yello!!!!  I haven't had that since the before time, the long long ago.  Anywayses, we went into the movie and watched some stupid fat hobbits.  THIEVES!  They stole it from us!!!  Afterwards we went back to Zak's and he started his chili.  Oh yumzies it was!  Instead of ground beef, he used cubed sirloin.  It's much better that way.  We watched the game and ate chili.  After the game, Zak was sad.  you see, he's a Raiders fan.  Not just rooting for the Raiders mind you, but a Raiders fan.  Oh, I almost forgot, Zak's friend, Dave was there too.  he's a Bucs fan, so it was much fun.  Anyway, after the game, we channel surfed a bit and ended stopping on Trading Spaces.  Apparently I was the only person in the room who did not watch it on a regular basis.  Now I like the show, I just don't watch TV all that much.  So I eventually tore myself away and drove home through the snow and collapsed into bed, Ok after the chili, I used the facilities (aka took a whopping CRAP) and then went to bed.

Ok, here's a bit of a contest:
Guess which world leader said this about a website that criticized them:
There ought to be limits to freedom.
OK, so it's an easy one, but hey, email me your answer and I just might give you a coupon good for 15% off at the Sizzler in Rockaway.  Then again, I might not.  I'm whimsical like that.

OH!!!  Baker gets all the cool points for finding the manual for my answering machine THE VERY NEXT DAY!  Not that I have a lot of cool points to give, but hey Stephen, you can have them all.

Don't forget, if your going to see MvM on Feb 8 or to Contempt on Feb 16 we can, like, carpool or something.  Hopefully Contempt will have the flyer up soon, so that their page actually announces the event.

Crap!  I almost forgot the pic of the week!  For shame!  So without further adieu, here's the guy with all the cool points.

Hey Malkovich, think fast!
So, here's a summary of my week thus far:  YMIR'S ICY BREATH IT IS COLD!!!!
Today's high was 19 degrees.  HIGH.  Tomorrow, the temperature will max out at about 14.  Damn.  OK, enough ranting about that.
So, Li suggested that since I have nothing to do for Valentine's Day, that I drive around and throw eggs at couples.  Yeah, she's a sweetie.  But I kindly reminded her that eggs cost money, of which I have none to spare on such wasteful activities.  So she suggested rocks as a substitute.
I've started reading Stupid White Men by Michael Moore.  It's a look at our current sate of affairs here in the US.  It's very amusing, and yet at the same time, quite frightening.  Then again, I'm a bit of a paranoid type.

YAY!  On Sunday Feb 16th there will be a Contempt at Filter 14!  Same place the last one that none of you went to was.  The next day is Presidents Day, so you should all have off.

Stupid me forgot one of the reason's for doing this update.  We had two, count em, 2 power outages yesterday, brief, but annoying none the less.  So I had to put a new message on my answering machine.  Go listen to the old 'hello.  I still have no idea how to change the time on that infernal gizmo.  Anyone out there who can get me a manual for a GE model 2-9868A digital answering machine gets major cool points in my book.

He's from New Jersey

Ok, so Friday, I had to work in the city, so afterwards I went and hung with Li.  We went to the Old Devil Moon for some dinner.  I got chicken and sausage jambalaya.  And for dessert, I got an apple raspberry cobbler.  It was all very good.  They also had Boylan Soda.  YUM!  After that, she and I hung out and watched Michael Moore's Awful Truth.  It was highly entertaining.  Especially the Sodomobile.  Where he took several gay and lesbian people and put them in a pink mobile home and drove through different states where sodomy is illegal.  I highly recommend it.  The show that is, not necessarily the Sodomobile.  After this I watched half of an iron chef, then took off.  I hit the L train and didn't have to wait to long then approached the PATH station just as the train I needed arrived. It was the last of the direct trains to where I parked.  If I miss it, I would had to sit there for about half an hour then taken the train to Hoboken, then to Harrison.  I put my money in the machine and of course it spit it out. I tried again and it took it.  I grabbed my change and jumped through the doors just as they closed.  Some people applauded my maneuver.  And I thought it was cool.  What does that say about my life?  I got back to my car and drove home.  Then sleepy-bye.
Saturday, was a mostly nothing day.  Kinda lounged around.  Ended up watching John Doe and Minority Report.  That pretty much sums it up.
Sunday I went to JP Lee's to have Mongolian Grill with Tom and Jack.  it was good and I hadn't been there in a while, so I was happy.  Then came back here and hung out.  That's all.

Hey, you all.  Me vs Machine is playing at the Batcave on Saturday Feb 8.  Anyone interested in joining me, send me a woohoo.

And here, for your viewing pleasure this week, is the hottest chick ever!

Welcome to homesatrrunner.net. 'It's dot com!'
For some reason about an hour ago, I was thinking of many things to say one here.  Now I got nothing.  Well, nigh nothing.
First, here's Dubbya's stance on North Korea's nuclear proliferation.
Second, an announcement
Anathema Device will NOT be playing in Clifton on Feb 1st.  Sorry to waste all your excuses, but at least now you don't have to think of any for next time.
Everyone, come to the city tomorrow!  Li n I will most likely get dinner somewhere and do some hanging out and such.  Join the fun!

This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!
So those crazy Russians have a problem with The Big Lebowski
And I've forgotten to post the link to Stephen's first animated flick.  No, not Bizzaker, though he does animation too, this is James's old roommate from China.
Um, that's it for now, unless you have anything to add?

Kiss Rocks? Why would anyone want to kiss... Oh wait, I get it.
Another weekend, another update.  I did realize that I forgot to link to my Journey to the Isle of Long page.  I did get it in last week, but since my cable modem crashed I couldn't save it and forgot it in the rewrite.  So enjoy.
My weekend consisted mostly of watching season 3 of Buffy.  Managed to finish it tonight.  Tricia was nice enough to correct name spellings for the big moving day so go check those out if you really care about such things.
Saturday night Chefjeff cooked a superb meal for us.  Us including Rosie, Timotheus, James, Tricia, Cathy, Chris M, and Sean.  The food was great.  He has a pork dish that was cooked and an apple and raisin sauce that I loved, which is good because I'm not overly fond of pork.  Much compliments Chefjeff.
Ok, if your name is Timotheus or you know him, you should look at this.
Bush explains why we must go to war with Iraq here.
This just in from Carnage:  All your base are belong to us.
Well was a slow weekend....that's all.  Well except for this weeks pic of the week.  A trip down memory lane.  Enjoy!

I'm a mental patient, I'm supposed to act out!
Update take 2!  I tried to update the page last night, but my cable modem kept cutting out on me.  Luckily it waited until I uploaded everything and was just updating my main page.
So, apparently I forgot to mention the Chefjeff and Rosie aided in the moving of Tricia and Cathy last weekend.  this info was brought to my attention by an anonymous source.
So, Monday I had to work at a customer in the city.  After work, I met up with Li and drove her back to NJ.  She decided to repay me by treating me to dinner, so we met up with Timotheus, Tricia and Cathy at El Coyote.  Yum!  Then Li and I returned to my apt and watched Meet the Feebles with Carnage.  It was an interesting movie.  Like the Muppets on crack.  Hell, it even had a M60 wielding hippo.  After the movie I dropped Li off at her parents and returned to go to sleep.  You can see picks of T&C's move and me waiting for Li to get off of work here.
On Wed, new years eve, I kinda putzed around all morning until about 1:10 when I realized that I was meeting Li for lunch.  So, in a blaze of speed, I took a shower ran out the door, stopped at a MAC machine and drove to The Clay Oven.  There Li and her friend Lisa were waiting for me.  We had a yummylicious lunch, then Li and Lisa went shopping and I returned to do laundry, oh how exciting I am.  That evening, I picked up Li and we went to Timotheus' for the New Years party.  Food was done by Cheffjeff.  Later I had to run and pick up Giner because Sean wasn't feeling well and would come later and due to an unfortunate accident she does not have a care <gasp>.  Many people showed up and much fun was had.  You can see the pics I took here.  After the midnight toast and the party was winding down, we watched Monster Garage.  It's a neat show where guys have a budget and they need to transform a vehicle into something else, but it still needs to look like the original as it drives around.  For example, the one episode had a limo that turned into a fire truck.  I guess you have to see it.
On new years day, I did mostly nothing all day, but in the evening, I went to my aunt's house for make-up Christmas.  This is the thing we normally do on Christmas when there isn't tons of snow falling from the sky.  You can see those festivities here.
The rest of the week was uneventful.  I kept this weekend nice and quiet.  Though Saturday night, ROSS and Giner came over and we watched Ring.  Which is the Japanese movie that The Ring was based off of.  It was  very similar to the new version and some scenes were almost identical.  I did think that The Ring was much scarier though, plus Ring was subtitled and some of the subtitles were lost when they went over white objects on the screen.  And there was one amusing moment where Giner got startled and made an odd noise.  Then ROSS tried to leave but it took him almost an hour because he had parked on ice.  I lent him my shovel and would've helped more if I hadn't changed into my pajamas before I knew he was stuck.  I really don't remember doing much on Sunday other than trying to do this update and failing because my modem cut out.  Well, that's all for now kiddies.

In other notes, look to my links so you can see Cheffjeff's website.

And what with me watching season 1 of B5 and the holidays and all, this weeks pic asks, "What do you want?"
