The Dave Brockie Experience

So, on July 29, I (Along with D-mo and John) went to see DBX at connections in Clifton.  For those of you who don't know, DBX is composed of Dave Brockie (obviously), Mike Derks and Brad Roberts all of GWAR fame.  for those of you who know GWAR, here is a pictorial comparison to DBX.

Oderus Urungus AKA: Dave Brockie

Balsac the Jaws of Death AKA Mike Derks

Jizmak Da Gusha AKA Brad Roberts

Sorry bout the poor picture.  Being the drummer, he's way in the back.

The show was great.  They played some GWAR favorites (such as Fucking an Animal and Saddam-a-Gogo) as well as some X-Cops (Welcome to New Jersey) and, of course DBX songs from their first and new album.  So without further adieu, here are the pics I took of the show.

I started out in the back, and the pics came out bad and had to be photoshopped so that they weren't to dark.  And since I'm not Photoshop expert, they come out all grainy like.

Ah, Dave.

Then I moved up some and got this good pic of Mike Derks

Here's the whole band, well, minus 1/4 of Mike Derks

Dave has the greatest expressions while he sings.

And again.  It's hard to frame shots while holding the camera above your head in the dark.

No, No, don't stop rockin!

Now I moved to the side because the center started getting rowdy

Yes, Dave is wearing a kilt

Yet another of his expressions

Dave's 'rockin' face

Yup, there's more
