War Protest March
3/22/03 NYC

So there was a War  march this weekend in NYC.  I went with my sister, we started at Broadway and 40th Street and walked up Broadway to Washington Square Park.  It took us about 3 1/2 hours to go, but there were about 250,000 or so people there so it took a bit to get going.

Here is an amusing sign.  Sadly this is the best pic I got of it.

I thought it ironic that we started at Golda Meir Square.

We traveled along near the drum squad.

Three, count em, three news helicopters watched us.

Here is more of the drum squad.  They were later joined by some saxophones and a trombone.

I just thought this was a cool shot.

Here's a shot of the march passing Herald Square.

These girls were singing and dancing.  "Shop in the name of war..."  It was highly amusing.

This was just a regular street ad.  I loved it though.

Geeks and protesters unite!

Can't argue with a toilet seat...

It's a real problem when corporate lawyers wont support your war.

This is just a great sign.
